WOODLAND ACTIVITIES, SINGING AND STORYTELLING DATE TITLE COST LEADER INFO May 17/18 Sing into spring £80 David Join a group of singers for a weekend of harmony singing amongst the bluebells. Songs will be taught by ear - so there is no need to worry if you can't read music - and even those who have not sung before find that soon their voices are adding to the richness of harmony singing. Songs will be drawn from countries where harmony singing is very much a part of everyday life and include songs from the Balkans, Georgia, and South Africa - as well as from British and American folk music. Lunch provided, accommodation available. June 28/29 Women in the Woods £100 Wendy Leave behind the hassle of your daily routine and enjoy being in the woods. You’ll take part in gently-paced activities and have lunch cooked on a fire. Basic, self-catering accommodation in the Study Centre or camping is included. Start 10 am. Aug 3-8 11-15 18-22 Forest Quest summer camp TBC Wendy Pattinson (Ages 8 to 14) Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm: five days of woodland activities - bush-craft, shelter-building, fire, food and fun. Bring a packed lunch. Aug23/24 Story telling £80 Paul Sharman This workshop is designed for adults and will enable participants to re-enchant the land and through telling their story motivate the conservation of both personal and natural environments. Lunch provided, accommodation available.
