Try mastering the ancient art of spinning using organic wool from Middlewood sheep. Make your own drop spindle and niddy noddy. Have a go with a spinning wheel. Lunch provided. 10am to 5pm June 1 Tree to a spoon Free Bambi All the way from a tree to a spoon, learn some green woodworking skills and go home with your own handmade spoon. Suitable for 12 years and up. Bring a picnic. June 5 Tree to a spoon Free Bambi All the way from a tree to a spoon, learn some green woodworking skills and go home with your own handmade spoon. Suitable for 12 years and up. Bring a picnic. June 7 Simple weaving and dying £35 Priscilla Morris Suitable for beginners. Make your own simple weaving loom with local materials. Use plants to dye wool from Middle Wood sheep and produce your own piece of decorative weaving. Lunch provided July 6 Basket weaving £30 Donald Whiting Suitable for beginners. Get started with basket making and weave a round willow basket whilst learning some different techniques. 9.30-4.00 Lunch provided Aug 9/10 16/17 Bow making £150 Bambi Make your own wooden bow. All the techniques and skills needed from timber selection, shaping the stave, tillering and string making to shooting the finished bow. It would help to have some woodworking experience but this is not essential. Lunch provided accommodation available. Sept 6-7 13-14 Chair building £150 Bambi In two weekends we will go from a log to a sturdy serviceable and decorative chair. All tools and materials will be provided. Lunch provided
